Bear Creek

Bear Creek Golf Course Community is another favorite residential area among golf enthusiasts. This area is located in Wentzville, Missouri and is also about 45 minutes outside of St. Louis. The Bear Creek Golf Course Community prides itself on its small-town charm. There are several different recreational activities to choose from here including; parks, two golf courses, an ice arena and several biking and hiking trails along the Missouri river. Residents in this area have access to public schools in St. Charles County, which have been ranked as some of the top schools in the nation. Lake Forest

Another private golf course community option is The Communities at Lake Forest. This neighborhood is located in Lake St. Louis, 40 minutes west of downtown St. Louis. Residents here can take advantage of an 18-hole private golf course at the Lake Forest Country Club as well as the many lakes perfect for fishing in the area. St. Albans

Not only will you get access to some of the best golfing in the St. Louis area, you will also get breathtaking views of the Missouri River. St. Albans offers several different types of neighborhoods inside its 5,400-acre residential community. There are homes   in every price range in this community starting at $250,000 and going all the way up to the $1.5 million mark. The golf course featured in the St. Albans Country club is an 18-hole par 72 Lewis and Clark Course designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish.
