Another private golf course community option is The Communities at Lake Forest. This neighborhood is located in Lake St. Louis, 40 minutes west of downtown St. Louis. St. Albans offers several different types of neighborhoods inside its 5,400-acre residential community. There are homes in every price range in this community starting at $250,000 and going all the way up to the $1.5 million mark. The golf course featured in the St. Albans Country club is an 18-hole par 72 Lewis and Clark Course designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish.
