CHAN 2014 : quarter finals fixtures
The home based Super Eagles will be up against Moroccan LIONS of Atlas in the quarter final of the ongoing African Nations Championships, CHAN, after the North Africans emerged as Group B winners on Monday night,while Zimbabwe will take on Mali
.The quarter final battle between Nigeria and Morocco will take place on January 25 at the Cape Town Stadium.
Former champions DR Congo came from behind to book a place in the quarter-finals of CHAN with a 2-1 win that eliminated brave Burundi at Peter Mokaba stadium in Polokwane on Wednesday evening.
The Leopards, inaugural CHAN winners in Cote d’Ivoire in 2009 finished second in their group behind Gabon and will now face Group C winners Ghana.
Gabon topped the group after also coming from behind to beat Mauritania 4-2 at Free State stadium in Mangaung.
