Cricket Filled Christmas
Cricket Filled Christmas
With Christmas just around the corner you might already be feeling the stress of it all. If that is the case then why not ditch the wintery blues, the Christmas crowds and the slaving over Christmas dinner?
This year you could make it a Christmas to remember with the Ashes Tours. And no, we don’t mean sitting in your living room watching it all on TV, we mean actually being there, in person.
The Ripper Tour
It really is a ripper of a tour. Departing from London Heathrow on Sunday 22nd, you could be jetting off to Melbourne AND Sydney for the 4th and 5th test as part of the Ashes Tours. Granted, you will be flying the day before Christmas Eve but you will arrive in Melbourne just in time for the most epic of Christmas celebrations. And it is here you will stay, at the Mercure Treasury Gardens, for the next seven nights.
Melbourne will be buzzing with Christmas spirit and you will arrive in Australia in the heart of their summer. Christmas will be spectacular before you have even had a chance to watch some cricket.
From Thursday 26th December to Monday 30th December you will be able to trundle on down to the MCG stadium, a mere 20 minute walk from the Mercure. Here you will be able to watch the Boxing Day Test in all its glory.
Sydney style
On Tuesday 31st December you will check out of the hotel and head on over to Sydney. Eight nights in the Menzies Hotel will see you through to the 5th and final Test and where you can sight-see to your hearts content.
Picture New Year over the Sydney Harbour, watching the fireworks whilst overlooking the Opera House. There really is no better way to bring 2014 in than being part of the Ashes Tours. And this is just the start of your trip in Sydney as you still have a 5th Test to watch at the SCG. This is the 5th and final Test to decide who will be bringing home the Ashes. Will it be coming home to England or will it be remaining in Australia? Remember when England last won? Imagine the atmosphere? And what better place to watch it than at the SCG at the start of the New Year.
Don’t let the winter blues bring you down this year. Hop on a plane and join us on tour. Leave the cold, dark, winter nights behind you. The only fire you will need is the one to fire up the BBQ on the beach in Melbourne or Sydney. It really is a trip of a lifetime and what better time to jet away to warmer climates than over the Christmas and New Year period. Got time off work? Well, why not make the most of it? You would only be sat at home, watching the cricket and being dragged around the Boxing Day sales. You can be part of the Christmas cricket action this year and give you and your loved one a Christmas to truly remember.
