Croatia head coach trimed his preliminary 30-man squad to 23

Striker Duje Cop of Dinamo Zagreb, midfielders Milan Badelj (Hamburg) and Mario Pasalic (Hajduk Split), and Udinese defender Igor Bubnjic also missed the cut from the original 28-man squad.

Dnipro left-back Ivan Strinic and Hamburg midfielder Ivo Ilicevic, who also missed Euro 2012, will not be going to Brazil because of leg injuries.

Croatia are in Group A, alongside hosts Brazil, Mexico and Cameroon.
