Ghana National Team donated to Kumasi orphanage
The Black Stars of Ghana visited an orphanage in Kumasi today to interact with the kids and donated food items to the children.
The national team players and their coaches went straight to the Kumasi Children’s Home soon after arriving in the Garden City from Accra.
Coach Kwesi Appiah, captain Asamoah Gyan and Michael Essien presented the items to the children in the presence of the other players.
“We have come here to join these lovely kids to encourage them that there are many better days ahead,” captain Asamoah Gyan said.
As part of their mission to give back to society, the Black Stars are used to visit orphanages to encourage the kids and give them material support.
