South Africa named squad to face Sudan and Nigeria in 2015 Afcon qualifiers
Recently appointed head coach of the national team of South Africa, Ephraim ‘Shakes’ Mashaba has announced a squad of 25 players for the first two matches of the 3rd round of the 2015 Afcon qualifiers.
In Group A, South Africa will first face the Sudan away before receiving Nigeria. With the Congo who completes this group, the mission looks easy for Bafana Bafana.
“It is very interesting to select the national team players, but there is also the difficult side of it, especially at this level where there are several very good players in different positions. There is huge talent in this country,”
said Mashaba.
Mashaba has communicated the list of 25 players with 9 players in reserve.
