How To Look Younger Without Spending A Dime On Beauty Products

You’ve likely heard all the bogus claims about the expensive beauty products. You know, the ones that claim that all you have to do is try it for a week and you’ll look 10 years younger. Every person has different skin and the truth is that even the anti-aging serums that cost a few hundred dollars an ounce aren’t proven to work. So you can easily lose your hard-earned cash and still look the same.

Obtaining the fountain of youth doesn’t have to break the bank. In fact, there are many things you can do to look years younger without even spending a dime. All you have to do is make a few changes to your current lifestyle and you will end up feeling more refreshed and youthful in no time.

Exercise

How To Look Younger

The best thing you can do to look younger is exercise often. Exercise offers so many anti-aging benefits to skin. It gets the blood moving, circulating nutrients throughout the body to help you achieve radiant skin. It also increases collagen production, resulting in youthful skin. Exercise also reduces stress and prevents damage caused by free radicals. It helps you sleep better and boosts muscle mass and Human Growth Hormones.

Eat the Right Foods

The right foods can keep your skin looking young. Antioxidants slow down the aging process and help keep skin elastic. Keep your kitchen stocked with vitamin-packed foods such as blueberries, oranges, leafy green vegetables and cantaloupe. Even dark chocolate – when eaten in moderation – works wonders for your skin. So now you have an excuse to indulge in a little chocolate now and then!

Stay Out of the Sun

The sun’s powerful rays can cause damage to the skin – even on cloudy days. In fact, 80 percent of our overall sun exposure comes from the times we spend walking the dogs or running errands – not playing at the beach. Too much sun exposure can cause age spots, wrinkles and even cancer. Protect yourself by avoiding the sun as much as possible. If you must stay outdoors for an extended period of time, wear sunscreen and reapply it often.

Get More Sleep

Experts recommend at least six hours of sleep a night. This is because a lack of sleep can have a domino effect on your body. You feel more fatigued, which causes cortisol to be released into the body. This leads to puffy eyes and skin damage. When you sleep, your body produces growth hormones that keep your skin supple and youthful. So hit the sack a little earlier tonight and you’ll fight wrinkles while you sleep.

Have More Sex

Many of us don’t need an excuse to have sex, but here’s one anyway: It can make you look younger. Research shows that having sex three times a week or more can take 10 years off your appearance. Similar to exercise, sex helps your body naturally release growth hormones, which help keep your skin youthful. In addition, regular sex can add to your longevity.

Lose Weight

Want to look 10 years younger? Make it a point to shed those few extra pounds you’ve been holding onto for too long. If you lose just five pounds, you can look years younger. This is because when you lose weight, it affects your body from the top down. That means that you’ll notice the effects in your face first. So make a plan to eat a healthy diet and exercise more often so you can meet your weight loss goals and look younger with aesthetics medical training. But beware: Don’t lose weight too quickly or you could end up with sagging skin. Women should keep their body fat percentage at 14 percent in order to keep their face full and youthful.

Stop Touching Your Face

Many of us touch our faces out of habit. Rubbing our eyes, scratching our cheeks, holding our chins in our hands and placing our hands on our foreheads may all seem like minor things, but they are all habits that are damaging our skin. We may not notice it, but we are causing small tears in our skin each time we engage in any of these habits. Facial skin is very delicate, so it can be torn or stretched every time we touch it. These tears can cause wrinkles as we age and lead to an overall decline in your skin’s quality.
