 FC Barcelona took on Real Madrid in the Copa Del Rey final for the 2014 season and it was Real Madrid who took the lead first through Angel Di Maria who scored in 11th minute of the game to put Los Blancos 1-0 up. Messi and company left their shooting boots at home and struggled through-out the game to create any meaningful chances.

Gareth Bale scored a wonder-goal to make sure Real Madrid takes Copa Del Rey final against FC Barcelona by 2-1. Bale who was playing for the first time in  Final for Real Madrid got the winning goal in 85th minute of the game and sealed the victory and Copa Del Rey his first trophy with Real Madrid since joining in summer for record transfer fee.
