The Yoga Lovers Guide To Miami
Millions of us love to do a spot of yoga once a week, or even once a day. It relaxes us and gives us more flexibility and strength than we probably ever thought was possible. When we go on vacation, many of us tend to temporarily forget about our exercise regimes, and later regret it. The good news is you can still enjoy your yoga regime while you’re in Miami as there are plenty of classes available all year ‘round.
Free Yoga Classes
When you come to Miami you will have the opportunity to enjoy free yoga classes at the south end of Bayfront Park at the Tina Hills Pavilion. Classes take place ever Monday and Wednesday at 6pm until 7:15pm, and on Saturdays at 9am until 10:15am. If it rains, classes will be held at the Bayfront Park Office.
The classes are held outdoors, which means you will have the chance to enjoy some incredible views as you take part in the class. Please note you will have to bring a yoga mat, towel and some water as these are not provided. Classes are held on a first come, first serve basis and beginners through to the most advanced are welcome.
Miami Life Center
If you would like to take part in classes then you will be pleased to know you can visit the Miami Life Center and enjoy a wide range of yoga classes. There is a wide variety of yoga available including:
- Restorative Yoga
- Iyengar
- Mysore Style Ashtanga
- Or Guided Ashtang
You can feel free to drop in and join a class for $20 each time, or buy an unlimited 7 day pass for $75. At the time of writing, classes are available every week day from 6am thro’ 9:30pm. The life center is great for those who would like to explore yoga and other relaxation methods, as well as exploring the body as a whole rather than simply as separate parts.
Voted Miami’s best yoga studio, Miami Life Center has a great reputation for ensuring you get the most out of your experience. If you can book your classes in advance, it’s recommended that you do as spaces tend to go quickly.
Miami Life Center often has events taking place which may be of interest to those who are staying in Miami for longer than 7 days. For more information about events and classes, please visit the Miami Life Center website.
